First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick quitseon in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!
The writing is the clearing. My thoughts get really jumbled and difficult for me to navigate through at times and after I write I find some sort of clarity if I then feel successful with the presentation of the piece. Honestly, its like a thunderstorm; when things get really cloudy and heavy that is when I get the urge to write.
